The ‘Back to School’ study

University of Bristol researchers want to hear the views of young people and parents/carers about schools reopening in September, including any concerns and ways that schools can address them.

They also want your views on a possible new study in schools to test young people and school staff for coronavirus using saliva samples. The study results will be used to help schools best to support students, parents, and teachers, as schools re-open fully. The study involves a one-off confidential interview that can be done via the phone or internet and will last up to 45 minutes. The interviews with young people can be done with one or two friends from their school or with a parent/carer. If you and your child agree to take part, you will each receive a £10 voucher each as a thank you. If you would like more information click here, and if interested in taking part please contact the researcher Ava Lorenc by email [email protected] or call (0117) 92 87323.
