Dear Parents and Carers,
In light of the upgraded weather warning issued today by the Met Office regarding the potential impact of Storm Eunice, we have taken the decision to close City Academy tomorrow, Friday February 18th.
We understand this may be challenging for our families and we apologise for the late notice but the safety of our students and staff is our priority.
The Met Office has today upgraded its weather warning to Red for the South West, warning there is a ‘danger to life’, with wind forecast up to 100mph and people are advised to stay indoors.
City Academy will be closed to all staff and pupils on Friday, February 18th.
Staff will be setting work for students to complete at home via Microsoft Teams Assignments.
Students will need to access their Microsoft Teams account from their student navigator, which all pupils will be familiar with. Students can access this from their Student Login page on our website https://cityacademybristol.clf.uk/. If you are having issues with a password for the student navigator page, then please email [email protected], where one of our IT team will assist you.
