CAB Students Performance at Bristol Beacon - Sunday, 28th January 2024

Come and experience the creative worlds of people who find sanctuary in Bristol, and celebrate the huge spectrum of cultural traditions that make up the fabric of our city.

Be Kind Bristol is a day of creativity co-curated with members of Bristol’s refugee and asylum seeker communities that weaves dance, art, poetry, music, and crafts into a heartfelt celebration of Bristol’s rich tapestry of refugee and migrant identities.  Expect to encounter sounds, colour, stories and ideas from all over the world bursting out from all corners of Bridgehouse.  The day will feature performances, exhibitions  and creative sharings from individuals and groups including Dovetail Orchestral, YES I Dub Mys.Tree shadow show, plus family craft activities and a chance to explore a human library of fascinating people.
Be Kind Bristol is an invitation to all with open hearts and minds to meet, share and reach a new understanding of the refugee experience. Together we’ll uncover how embracing kindness can make our city stronger.
