City Academy raise money for BBC Children in Need

The catering team at City Academy have been making and selling delicious cupcakes to students and staff all week during breaktime and lunchtime.

This major baking event was held for a fantastic cause, as all proceeds were donated to the BBC’s Children in Need charity.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of the school community, a grand total of £665 was raised.

Donna Stark, Facilities Manager at City Academy, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the support we’ve received.

“Our catering team put in a huge effort, and the students and staff really got behind the fundraiser.

“It’s wonderful to know that our cupcakes and our community can help make a difference to children who need it most.”
