City Academy students experience inspiring workshop with Bristol School of Acting
Twenty drama and dance students at City Academy Bristol had the amazing opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by the Bristol School of Acting (BSA).
The event was particularly special as it featured several ex-City Academy students who have gone on to excel at the acting school.
The workshop included a captivating theatre in education performance by the talented BSA students. The performance not only showcased their remarkable skills and creativity but also highlighted the importance of educational theatre in engaging and inspiring young audiences.
Rebecca Pearce, drama teacher City Academy, said: “The collaboration between City Academy and the Bristol School of Acting provided an enriching experience for all participants.
“Our students were able to witness firsthand the professional standards and dedication required in the performing arts. Additionally, they had the chance to interact with and learn from their peers who have successfully transitioned to higher education in the field of drama and dance.”
