Join healthcare specialists working with the COVID-19 vaccine in Bristol and South Gloucestershire and ask them the questions you want the answers to.
With three COVID-19 vaccines approved and more trials taking place, Dr Rajeka Lazarus, Consultant in Infectious Diseases at University Hospital Bristol & Weston, and our expert panel, will be available to discuss how vaccines work and help us dispel the myths and misinformation.
Some common questions are:
- How did the vaccine get approved so quickly?
- Is the vaccine safe?
- What are the side effects of the vaccine?
- Will the vaccine give me COVID-19?
The event, run by the Bristol Race Equality COVID-19 Steering Group, Bristol City Council and the Clinical
Commissioning Group (CCG), will be opened by Councillor Asher Craig, Deputy Mayor and the panel discussion will be facilitated by Vice Chair of the steering group, Dr. Jo Brooks.
