GCSE success at Bristol’s City Academy

City Academy in Bristol has achieved another year of improved results, with a record number of grades at both 9-7 and 9-5 – achievements which will enable students to progress to a wide range of further education courses.

School leaders said the positive results are fitting reward for the hard work put in by students during their GCSE studies.

Principal Ben Tucker said: “We are delighted with the number of students going on to their first-choice destination and would like to thank all staff for their hard work and commitment to this group.

“It has been fantastic to see so many happy faces of students, families and staff today. Everyone has worked hard for these results and students deserve the success they have achieved.”
