Year 11 Open to Options careers day
Nineteen different employers and educational providers attended City Academy’s Open to Options event for Year 11 students.
The event is designed to help students explore potential career options, and gave them a chance to take part in speed interviews, asking visitors about their education and career path and learning how they can achieve their own goals.
They then spent time exploring the careers fair, visit the various stands and networking with experts from different business sectors.
Careers and Aspirations Coordinator Miss Martin said: “A huge thank you to all our employers and colleges who attended and made the event so special with cupcakes, treats, pens, badges, notepads and leaflets.
“Students left feeling confident and inspired. Our visitors were impressed with the interesting questions students asked and how engaged they were.”
